by the principals of Krishna & Saurastri,
a prominent and leading full service Intellectual
Property Law firm with over 50 attorneys,
and Infocache Corporation, a New York City-based
litigation support services company. It
is led by eminent industry veterans with
extensive global experience. Their oversight

Chairman & CEO – Guli
Rajani
Guli Rajani has held senior executive positions
such as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer
of RJR Nabisco Inc., Consolidated Edison,
Standard Brands, RJR Reynolds and senior
positions at Pfizer. He also held senior
executive positions at Wall Street firms,
such as Managing Director of Investment
Banking at Chase Manhattan Bank and Managing
Director of Walsh Greenwood Co. and WG Trading,
multi-billion dollar private equity funds.
He is a career angel investor in technology
and enterprise service businesses, having
funded and participated in buy outs of over
fifteen companies, ranging from start-up
to several hundred million in revenues.
He is a former Board Trustee of St. Francis
College in New York and former Board Director
of the Financial Executives Institute. Mr.
Rajani is currently the Chairman and CEO
of Infocache Corporation, a New York-based
litigation service and data management company
with offshore facilities in Mumbai, India.
His pharmaceutical career includes the process
development of numerous life saving antibiotics,
anticancer and antidepressants drugs, such
as Geopen, Geocillin, Sinequan, Mithramycin.
He has an MBA in International Finance and
in Marketing from New York University, M.S.
in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University
and B.S. in Engineering from Indian Institute
of Technology. He is also an Associate Member
of American Bar Association.
Co-Chairman and Co-CEO - Sunil B
Krishna
Sunil B Krishna is an eminent IP figure
known equally well in India as well as abroad.
A visionary with valuable insight, Sunil
has provided extensive counseling and services
for successful IP management and enforcement
to vast clientele.
Sunil is also the Managing Partner of Krishna
& Saurastri, a renowned full service
Intellectual Property Law firm based in
Mumbai, with branches in Ahmedabad, Bangalore
and Pune.
He has a broad background in intellectual
property law, including patent and trademark
prosecution and litigation, development
of IP portfolios, licensing, acquisitions,
divestitures and joint ventures, resolution
of patent disputes, etc.
Sunil is a member of several IP associations
and professional organizations, namely APAA,
AIPPI, INTA, MARQUES and others. He regularly
addressees professional and law group audiences
on varied issues pertaining to intellectual
property law, enforcement, licensing, financing
and technology transfers.
Executive Vice-President - Maya
Rajani
Maya Rajani has over twenty-five years of
executive experience in Strategic Planning,
Management Consulting, Corporate Development
and Marketing at American Express, Shearson
and EF Hutton. She has also held senior
positions at Price Waterhouse Coopers and
provided strategic consulting to companies
such as Bell South, Contel, Equifax and
First Data Corporation.
Her philanthropic activities include serving
as Vice Chairman of the Long Island Alzheimer's
Foundation, President of Children's Hope
India and Board Trustee of Buckley Country
Day School. Currently, Maya is President
of Infocache Corporation.
VP and Managing Attorney - R. Muralidharan
R. Muralidharan is a Managing Attorney with
more than two and a half decades of rich
experience in IP and banking litigation,
trial and appellate advocacy, discovery
and interrogations, and review of contracts.
Muralidharan holds a Masters Degree in International
and Constitutional Law and a Bachelor Degree
in Biology from Madras University. He was
a Research Fellow, Department of Legal Studies,
University of Madras, (1984-1986) Assistant
Professor, NLSIU, Bangalore (1988-1992)
Visiting Lecturer, University Law College
Bangalore (1993-1996), and Infosys Research
Fellow, National Law School of India University,
Bangalore (2000-2002). He is also a visiting
faculty at the National Law School of India,
Bangalore, National Academy of Advanced
Legal Studies & Research, Hyderabad and
National Law University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Mr. Muralidharan represented India in the
Philip C. Jessup Fellowships International
Moot Court Competition held at Washington
D.C., U.S.A. (April 1979). He participated
in International Visitors Program of Washington
Graduate School (DA) on Intellectual Property
Issues (1989). He is a recipient of British
Council Travel Grant (1989) and has also
participated in the I.L.C. International
Law Seminar, held at Palais Des Nations,
Geneva, Suisse (1992) and was awarded Diploma
of attendance. Mr. Muralidharan is registered
to practice before the Intellectual Property
Offices of India and is registered with
the Bar Council of India.
Board Of Advisors
Denis Cronin
Denis Cronin served as Managing Partner
of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz for six
years, during his more than 21-year tenure
at the firm. An accomplished lawyer with
34 years of experience, he is now a partner
in Vinson & Elkin's New York office and
co-chair of the firm's Restructuring and
Reorganization practice group. His principal
areas of focus are corporate restructurings,
workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations, mergers
and acquisitions, general corporate and
commercial law, and mediation. He has been
appointed by bankruptcy courts as a mediator
in a number of matters, including most recently
having served as a mediator in the Dana
Corp. chapter 11 case.
Denis has been named as one of the Best
Lawyers in America for more than 20 years
and as one of the "Best Lawyers in New York"
by New York Magazine since the inception
of the survey. He was also named a "New
York Super Lawyer" in a recent survey by
Law & Politics. Prior to joining V&E, Denis
was also a founding partner of a New York-based
bankruptcy boutique firm.
Mark Bloom
Mark Bloom is the managing Partner of MB
Investments, a multi-billion dollar hedge
fund of funds. Before joining MB Investment
Partners, Mark was a Senior Tax Partner
at BDO Seidman LLP where he was a member
of the firm's National Tax Consulting Group
and Tax Committee and an integral part of
the firm's Structured Investment Team.
Previously, he served as President of Taylor
Reid Securities LLC, a broker/dealer affiliated
with BDO and was the Managing Director of
Marketing and Investor Services and a Partner
with WG Trading Co. LP, where he was responsible
for building the firm's investor base from
$60 million to nearly $2 billion in less
than three years. In addition, Mark was
credited for developing an enhanced alpha
index arbitrage strategy that he used in
the launch of several on and offshore funds.
Mark is a CPA and is licensed with a Series
3, 7, 24 and 63.
Thomas J. Volpe
Thomas J. Volpe was Senior Vice President,
Financial Operations, of The Interpublic
Group of Companies, Inc., Vice President
and Treasurer of Colgate-Palmolive Company
and a Principal of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells.
Currently, he is Senior Advisor at Babcock
& Brown, a global financial services firm.
Tom serves as Chairman Emeritus of the St.
Francis College Board of Trustees and also
serves as a board member for two other nonprofit
organizations. He is also the former president
of the New York Chapter of Financial Executives
International.
In tribute to his contributions to the college,
St. Francis has organized The Thomas J.
Volpe Global Business and Finance Lecture
Series, which includes speakers such as
Mary Robinson – former President of Ireland,
Lech Walesa – former President of Poland,
Paul Rusesabagina – the real hero of Hotel
Rwanda, Caspar Weinberger – former Secretary
of Defense, Arthur Schlesinger Jr. – winner
of the Pulitzer Prize and George Mitchell
